How to Play Farkle
Farkle is the classic press-your-luck dice game: roll six dice, set aside scoring combinations, and decide whether to bank your points or risk them on another roll.
The OPKA table plays ten solo rounds from a seeded dice stream, so every finished game can be replayed and verified on the server before its banked total ranks on the leaderboard.
How a round works
Roll all six dice. You must set aside at least one scoring combination, then either roll the remaining dice for more points or bank the round's total.
If any roll contains no scoring dice, that's a farkle: the round ends and its unbanked points are lost. Setting aside all six dice is hot dice — the pool resets to six and the round keeps going.
- Single 1 = 100 points, single 5 = 50 points.
- Three of a kind = face x 100 (three 1s = 1000); four, five, and six of a kind double, triple, and quadruple the triple value.
- Straight 1-6 or three pairs = 1500 points.
Banking versus pushing
Points only count once banked. The core skill is judging when the remaining dice justify another roll: rolling one or two dice farkles often, while rolling four or more is usually safe early in a round.
Ten rounds, one total
The OPKA solo format is ten rounds. Every farkle wastes a round entirely, so consistent banking usually beats greedy pushing over a full game.
